Lobbyists are required to register with the Boston City Clerk.

An ordinance passed by the Boston City Council and signed by Mayor Marty Walsh requires lobbyists doing business with the council or administration to register their work with the clerk’s office. The new law replaces a weaker version that was rarely followed or enforced.
